Hi there! I’m

Kobus Galloway

Award-winning illustrator, cartoonist, writer, and designer.

While most people know me as the creator of Idees Vol Vrees – the offbeat cartoon series that’s found its way into books, newsfeeds, and the hearts of a very specific corner of the internet – I’ve spent the past 20 years working across print, digital, branding, and broadcast, creating work that blends wit, craft, and clarity.

I’ve illustrated for magazines, published seven books, designed national campaigns, written advertisements for television, and built a loyal following through humour with a sharp edge. Whether it’s a single panel or a full brand identity, I believe in making things that connect… and stick.
